OUR MISSION

Underwater Soldiers exists to provide support to our community Veterans, primarily through SCUBA. In order to be successful, we have established a three-legged program that not only supports veterans, but also gives back to the surrounding community that supports us.

Individually, these services are important, but we find that with combining all three into our whole mission, we can be more successful. This is our “three legged-stool”.

POOL THERAPY NIGHT

We offer Veterans, of all areas and all levels of (dis)abilities, access to SCUBA as a form of Therapy. Any Veteran or Active Duty Service Member can attend Dive Night ans experience the benefits of SCUBA on their physical and mental health

CLEANUP DIVES

In an effort to give back to the generous communities that support us, Underwater Soldiers organizes and preforms cleanup dives, removing trash and debris rom local watershed.​​

VETS SUPPORTING VETS

Most importantly, Underwater Soldiers brings Veterans together to support one another. The experiences of a veteran are unique and often misunderstood. By creating a group of like-experienced people, we enable them to support one another through whatever struggles and even successes that they might have. 

 

It is our goal to create a thriving, successful, and encouraging Veteran community in the areas we serve.
